Lexington Avenue Watermain Improvements

The City of Roseville will be replacing the watermain on Lexington Avenue between Oakcrest Avenue and Woodhill Drive in 2022.  The watermain is being replaced due to high break history and to upgrade existing failing infrastructure.  Work is being done at this time because Ramsey County will be resurfacing Lexington Avenue between Highway 36 and County Road C2 in the summer of 2022.  By doing the projects at the same time, impacts to the public will be minimized.

The cost of this project is funded by City utility funds.  There will be NO ASSESSMENTS for this work within the City of Roseville.

Work on the project is anticipated to begin in late May.

Traffic Impacts

Currently there are no traffic impacts.  Once the project begins, it is anticipated that traffic on Lexington Avenue will be shifted to allow for watermain construction.  Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction by eliminating the center left turn lane.  Detours will be posted once the final traffic control plans are determined and construction dates are known.
