History & Mission

Exploring is for young people to explore future careers and interests and is organized through the Boy Scouts of America for both males and females ages 13 to 21. Through exploring young people receive hands on training and work-site based career opportunities. The Roseville Fire Department formed an Explorer Post in the year 2000. Roseville Fire Explorers meet bi-weekly on Sunday evenings. at the Roseville Fire Station, 2701 Lexington Ave N.

The mission of the Roseville Fire Department Explorer Post is to assist in the mission of the Roseville Fire Department: To continually strive for the prevention of fires, injuries and accidents, while upholding high standards for the quality of the services we provide to the citizens, businesses and visitors to Roseville.

The fire department maintains a registered lead adviser and registered associate advisers through the Northstar Council of the Boy Scouts of America. These advisers are all professional firefighters with the Roseville Fire Department. The fire department maintains adequate adult supervision of Explorers at all times that they are involved in official meetings and functions.
